Calling all ladies interested in meeting others, taking part in a variety of activities and listening to fascinating speakers!



We generally meet at the Village Hall on the second Thursday of every month (see programme for alternative dates and venues) and offer opportunities for other events in the interim. Come and try us out at no charge.

May 8th – A History of Aviation – talk by Malcolm Judge
Competition – an item related to aviation
June 12th – Visit to the ship owned by seaweed harvesters, Seagrown, at Scarborough harbour
July 10th – A presentation on photography by Mark Lamb
Competition – a favourite summer photo.
August – Afternoon Garden Party (date and venue to be confirmed)
Competition – an item for the bring and buy stall.
Sept 11th – AGM and 1960s evening to commemorate 60 years of Burniston and Cloughton Village Hall Competition – a donation for the Rainbow Centre
October 9th – A presentation on the history of signs in Scarborough by installation designer, Adrian Riley
Competition – a handcrafted item
Nov 13th – A talk on Antarctica by author, Phil Hart
Competition – an item related to penguins
Dec 11th – Christmas festivities
Competition – an item for a Secret Santa sack (£5 max)
