Our Facilities

Burniston & Cloughton Village Hall and Playing Fields (BCVH) including the playground and bowls club was established in 1964 following a bequeath from a member of the community. The hall and the surrounding facilities was first opened in 1965, and over 50 years later continues to serve the communities of Burniston, Cloughton and beyond.

We are established as a Registered Charity (No 523328) and managed and run by a team of Volunteer Trustees and Committee Members.

What we Offer

BCVH Music Festival 2022

For many years we have been the home of thriving entertainment such as the ever-popular annual pantomime and the legendary Cloughton Rat Pack concerts. They showcase amongst many others, the fantastic facilities we offer.

The hall continues to host a wide range of events such as concerts, parties and weddings, alongside clubs and societies who use the hall regularly for example short mat bowling, keep-fit, and the WI.

The Burniston & Cloughton Bowls Club is situated adjacent to the Hall, across the car park and up the slope it is clearly signposted.

Scarborough Short Mat Bowls Club use the village hall during the winter months.

Volunteering

We are always looking for volunteers to join and help with the maintenance and continued smooth running of the hall and grounds or perhaps join the pantomime – if you are interested please contact us on 01723 643003 or email us on: abc@bcvillagehall.org.uk.
