One of Us
Bananadrama are delighted to be returning to Burniston and Cloughton Village Hall this summer after the success of their previous production ‘Love, Joan’ in 2025. We are once more teaming up with our experienced guest director, Duncan Lewis, to bring our new full-length play ‘One of Us’ to audiences from 11th – 13th June 2026.
‘One of Us’ tells the story of three sisters who are preparing to bury their mother. After the funeral, they meet to discuss a family secret that has been kept hidden for many years. At last, they can celebrate a new member of the family – at least until another, darker secret threatens to blow the family apart. Will they be able to reconcile with their new reality? And what will happen to anyone who gets in their way?
‘One of Us’ is part of this year’s Scarborough Fringe event.

Another Rewrite
The team from The Last Orders brings you a full-length comedy drama. The cast of a popular radio series are recalled for a late night recording session, due to a last minute rewrite. Things might not go entirely as planned. Elements of farce, drama and romance take you on a journey into their world. Written and directed by Charlotte Hill with a cast of local actors. Includes one interval.
